Yes it will.

The programing is more tedius but, the functionality will be the same.

Agreed, if your one of those people who has to have every single function working for him for every device and need to customize it right down to the bones it will be a pain in the @(# to program. However, it will handle normal functions nicely. It will work with any base unit. Do me a favor, when you saved the couple of hundred bucks report back here and let us know if you have any issues that would require the narrow band.

By the way, the reason why I know the MX-350 is good and I am reccomending it is because I have an entire closet FULL of all types of remotes , from MX-900s to RTI's entire line, to Pronto to Monster, yet I still have an MRF-250 in my bedroom with the MX-350. never thought about switching. It's fine.

If your not having RF issues now, 'narrow band' wouldn't change a thing!

To answer one of your first questions comparying the MX-350 to the 'consumer' remotes, the 350 is addressable (you can run more than one mrf base station and not have them interfere with one another).

SKYNYRDFAN is correct. MX350/MX650/MX850 manufactured 11/06 and after all have narrow-band transmitters for compatability with MRF350 and the new MRF260. Also, the MX350 is now shipping as a MX350-N with added memory.

Have you looked in the Home Theater Marketplace on this site for a used unit?
