Finally got all my functions and macros setup in my MX-900. This is a great remote. With the exception of the URC provided Power ON/Power Off commands not working for my DVR (Motorola 6416), it's working smoothly.

I am however having problems with my MRF-250 though. The status light is glowing when I press a command on the remote but for some reason the IR blaster is not sending out the IR signals in my cabinet. I was hoping to avoid the sticky flashers but I may not have a choice. Any tips to try and get the IR Blasters working.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you set the address on the bottom of the MRF250 to an address other than 0? 0 is "sniffer mode", defeats routing (all emitters will flash), and disables the blaster in the MRF.

Don't forget to change the address in software too.

I did not switch this. Does it matter what I switch it to as long is it is not zero?

This really isn't a big deal. Most people leave their Motorola DVR's on all the time anyway. In fact, there is no reason not to. The hard drive runs all the time anyway.
