It appears that the MRF-300 only has outputs for 6 IR blasters.
I have 7 different components that I need to control with my Aurora MX-950.
Since I still have line of site to two of the components, can the MX-950 be configured to still use IR for those two components and RF for the others?

Yes. Each component is assignable for IR or RF. However, you can also buy a dual-headed emitter by Speakercraft or Xantech that will increse your total to 7 (or more). I currently use an MRF-350 with 8 components using two dual-headed emitters and four standard ones. Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

Thank you Surf Remote.
I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to purchase a second base station.
As far as dual-headed emitter, do you know whether the ones included with a Harmony 890 be used with the MRF-300.
At least I have a Harmony 880 configured to control all but one of my devices for now.
I have a local installer hired to program the MX-950, but after installing my new Marantz SR7001 yesterday, he won't be able to do the programming until next Wednesday.
I plan to at least do some of the initial programming, but I can't find any codes in my database for the SR7001 or a Sony BDP-S300.
