There are no discrete ON or OFF codes for any of the Motorola cable boxes.
Also, with the DCT 62xx and 64xx PVR's, they perform best when left on the entire time. Since there are no energy savings by powering the box down, there is no reason to do so. Most of the bugs in the firmware appear far less often with the box continually powered up.

Seconded that they are best left on, but although there are no discretes, there are workarounds if you really want to do them.
MENU POWER functions as a discrete off and MENU POWER POWER functions as a discrete on. Some people report that occasionally this locks the box up, but I've never had a problem when I have delays of 0.5 seconds inserted. Slightly lengthy, but it works.

The Motorola boxes continually communicate (2-2ay) with the home base cable company. Often, the box needs to be on to accept updates to the software, or changes made to the cable operators system. If the box is left off, especially for a long period of time, it may need to be swapped for a new box. Resist the urge to power down the box at any time.
