I haven't taken a real deep look at the editor for this, but can you turn off the beep on button presses on the mx-900? I haven't really had anyone ask me this before, but while doing a demo with one, the thought popped into my head. Just wondering.

You can adjust the volume of the beep or completely turn the beep off if you wish. This is accomplished via a setup menu in the remote itself. To access the menu, press and hold both the "WATCH" and "ENTER" buttons for five seconds.

You can turn off the beep for a single button by replacing the direct command with a one step normal macro (containing the desired command) and an identical press-hold macro. Only the press-hold macro will beep, and the beep can be delayed by up to 5 seconds, it's makes it pretty much gone, unless the user holds the button down for 5 seconds, in which case they'll get a beep with the same effect as if they pressed the original beeping button.

You just reminded me that I was supposed to turn off the beep on a customer's remote today when I added codes for the new reciever. I'm sure they'll be calling to whine about it
