If only URC would put out the Vista release (or at least the current beta) I too could be in version 1.10.107 nirvana.

I should add that the Hex Editor only accepts Pronto hex that begins with "0000".

For example:

0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 etc.

Garrett which remote are you having an issue using Vista?
I have all the editors and remotes working with liveupdate except the MX-950 on Vista Ultimate.

The only affected remotes were the MX-950 and MX-3000, I believe, as they were the only ones to use Active Sync. Someone on these forums came up with a way to use the MX-3000, so the only trouble remains with the MX-950.

I have a MX-900 (bought from SRC). The new update does the download part but then the pop-up "Fail to save patch file." error window appears. My editor version is stuck at Version 1.10.086.

Hmm, my first reaction would be to uninstall and reinstall the software.

"Fail to save patch file." error window appears.

If you are using Vista and and receive this message when doing a live update...
Go to Control panel, Select User Accounts, Turn OFF User Account Control (UAC), restart. All should be well after that.

Rather than turning off User Account Control (UAC) there is another solution under Vista. Simply run the program as Administrator. Right click the program shortcut and then click on the "Run as administrator" command. This has the same benefit as turning off User Account Control but I feel it's simpler.

Bob, that's the ticket! Thanks a lot for for reminding of something I was aware of in Vista. I've used the "Run as administrator" on other software in the past, but on performing this Live Update I had a brain far_. I did receive a digit higher version 1.10.108, although the History link still lists: July 16, 2007 Verr 1.10.107.
