I'm trying to configure my MSC-400 to fire RS232 Commands. I created a RS232 Device in the MSC-400 then created the macro group using the tools button. When I test the commands individually through the USB and they work fine. Next I created the macro group for the device downloaded from the MX-3000 and added the RS232 commands to there respective macros. However when I press the button on the MX-3000 only the IR's work so I assume it's not firing the commands in the Macro for the RS232. What am I doing wrong?

Did you import the macro triggers from the 400 to the 3000? Because from what you have posted it looks like you left that step out

Glad I could help. At first the 400 seems like it doubles programing time. But once you figure it out, you'll love it.
