Members,
I have a MX-900 remote controlling all of my components in my sound system, except my Rotel-1057 receiver. If I stand in front of the receiver the MX-900 can control the receiver perfectly through the learned command process. However the minute I put the lead in front of the IR sensor on the Rotel-1057 from the MRF-300 it will not accept any commands. So I have tried the following:
1) I have moved the plug in point from 1 to 4 on the MRF-300, same issue. 2) I have adjusted the sensor on the front of the receiver, same issue. 3) I have adjusted settings in the editor software, same issue.
Is there a trick I am misisng?
Thanks,
Michael Giannou

Use the IR jack in the back of the 1057, should solve all your problems.

have you adjusted the gain on the port the flasher is connected? Probably not sending enough signal OR too much.
Not Familar with Rotel BUT if deisel says use the rear port, then by all means do so. it eliminates a bunch of ass ache dealing with ir overload, flasher positioning, etc.
