I have a customer that wants an MX950 in his private jet. I know the FAA and FCC have all kinds of regulations on the frequencies that can be in use during a plan flight. Does anyone know if this is possible. If not,. what type of remote control must be used.

My guess is that rf would be a BIG no-no. Don't know how ir would work with sun streaming through the windows.
Start with your local FAA GADO (General Aviation District Office).

I researched this a little while I worked at a past company that had several clients with private jets that requested AMX and other things. Ultimately any system that gets installed in a plane will need to be sent to the FAA for evaluation and approval. If your system does get approved you then need to decide if you want to be responsible or possibly liable if anything happenedd to the plane in the future. The owner of the company I was working with at the time decided it was best left to the couple of companies that are out there that do this kind of thing.
