I just picked up an MX-900 yesterday after reading your forums for sometime and I have never programmed one before so I am learning slowly. I have run into an issue though. When I hit Watch -> HDTV it activates the power toggle for the TV. So everytime I try and access the TV's menu options the TV turns off. How do I make it so it only takes me to page 1 of my TV menu and not power the TV on/off?

Also, does anyone know if there are any descrete codes for Componant 1, 2, and HDMI for a Panasonic TH-32LX50?

Thank you.

What is in your macro when you press the HDTV button? Are you issuing the TV power command? There's your problem.

And you have to be more patient than a couple hours.

There is no macro. That's the thing. I have deleted the "goto page" command and re-added it as it's the only thing in the macro field. I can't figure out why the power toggle is locked to that button.

Sounds like that button has the TV power toggle ir code on it. If you select the button and hit the delete button, do you have options to delete IR code, learned code, macro, or what?

You need to delete the IR code or learned code. no reason to delete the jump.

"Please" always helps! Oh, and patience. :-)

I would check first to see if in your macro there is any commands that you did not record yourself. I have had a similar issue when adding a different component of the same type ( example taking out a Panasonic DVD player and adding a Pioneer). For some reason when this is done some foreign commands appear.
