Hi,
Has anyone tried the codes for this unit from the serial database? I gave one of my installers a msc400, mx900, & the escient avx-211 to program & he is having problems. Has anyone used these codes or successfully used other ones. I broke my foot & am having problems keeping up with my workload. Just looking for a little help.

The serial database codes work fine. You need to check double click on the connected device and in the window that comes up check the box that says "add a carriage return automatically". Also, make sure Escient is set for serial control in its menus.
I wouldn't set any of the keys to repeat while being held in the msc-400. There is a problem with it jumping twice for one key press. No one really notices for volume but if you add it to the arrow keys for selection it can be a pain. URC should have a fix soon.
