I am aware that a MSC400 can be extended with another MSC400. The same applies to a MRF300/350s. I was wondering if the MSC400 could be extended with a MRF300 or 350 for simple IR signal pass through. TIA!

As far as actually extending it, no I don't think you can, since the two devices work very different from each other.
I'm not sure you'd gain anything by attempting to extend the 400 with the 300/350 anyway. You'd probably do just as well to set it up using a different RFID than your 400, and having two RFBS's assigned in your remote program. That'd do eveything you wanted it to.

Thanks for your reply. All I want is to use the 400 to pass through the IR signal to the 350. This way it I could use the existing RFX-250 with a different base station. 6 IR ports on the 400 are just not enough for my application. If the 400 actually worked as advertised (and as promised by URC) this would be more of an academic point. However as far as I can tell the ports 7 to 14 are still not accessible for IR (see here : [Link: remotecentral.com])
