Anyone sucessfully control Sony's little MR2es amps w/ the codes in the database?

Codes 631 / 632 under audio (TA-MR2ES ID1 & ID2 )

They did not work correctly .. p-on / p-off toggled the power , and the volume diddn't work at all. I tried to learn the codes from the amp using an emitter ... but no dice.

I dont know if URC's codes are fubar / or if the amps are bad.
BTW- using an MX 950 / w/ mrf350 base.
Emitters set to all. (I've found that to be the most reliable w/ jacked in gear)

Thanks - Chris

When you tried to learn from the amp via the IR emitter output did you have the test dip switch on (up) and the correct channel on (up) for the device and then switch the test dip to off (down) before testing?
