I am using the MX-850 with the MRF-250 and can't seem to get the 250 to operate anything. The remote and the 250 are set to address #2. The infared remote commands work great with all the equipment, but nothing seems to be going through the emitters even though I see the red lights flicker. Do you think it could just be a bad MRF-250 or does someone have a suggestion to check. I have another 250 and MX-850 in another room and they work perfect. Thanks....

Sounds like a bad MRF. Swap it with the other one you have and see what happens.

Mike thanks. I finaly just decided it had to be a bad unit cause I had tried everything else. I am returning it and ordering a MRF-300 hoping it may be a little more stable. I never could get the 250 to control even one unit once so there must be something wrong. I didn't try swaping it out with the other one cause it's a little difficult to get to it in my system. I am still sold on the MX-850 it's a great remote for my setup even with lots of macros.
