I have a fireplace that uses an RF remote control. I would like to use the MX 3000 to control the fireplace but, of course, the MX3000 can't learn RF commands. Any idea how I can get the RF commands for that remote to the MX3000? The fireplace manu will not help.

No way for the mx3000 to control it directly but you could purchase a MSC-400 or any number of products such as Niles MSU series which accept an IR command to open/close a relay which would be installed at your fireplace switch.

Thanks. Not sure this will work. There are a few other remote functions for the fireplace I would need. The AC trigger would only control the blower, not the flame, etc...
