Two questions:
1) I'm looking for the IR codes for a Universal Remote Control IR code for a Pioneer PRO-940HD plasma TV. Pinoeer posts the IR "commads" on their web site, but I don't know how or if its possible to upload that into the MX's editor tool? Does anyone have these codes?
2) I've tried contacting Unversal Remote Control customer support and none of the numbers posted on their web site seem to be working?? and they have not responded to any e-mails.

Thanks,

Ricky

If you have current legit software the 840 is in the Universal IR Database. Do a Live Update if you can.
If you can't use the 940 MXF file on the Pioneer site.
The codes will work just fine but you need to open them with the editing software's "Universal Browser" and drag the commands that you need to the buttons of the 940.
It's a simple process but you might want to read the instructions.

Thank you for the reply. I'm totally lagit. I bought the remote yesterday from an authorized seller and registered the product and downloaded the SW. I don't see where to do a live update however. I don't see a 840, but do see a PRO-930HD, but it does not have all the codes I need.

Sorry to seem totally stupid, but I can't find MXF file on pioneer's site either only a PDF file of the codes??

This link should take you to an email sign-in box.
[Link: pioneerelectronics.com]
You might have to copy and paste it in your browser window.
From there you will be on the pioneer Custom Install site.
You should see a button that says "Universal Remote Control Files". Click that and look for the one that is called PRO940HD-MXF. When you click that you will be asked to accept an agreement to use the file properly before it can be downloaded.
You can use the PRO-930HD codes in the database but you would have a few commands missing.

Thanks. I was able to download the .mxf file from the Pioneer site. Now for just a little bit more hand holding on this. The editor software doesn't seem to recognise this file format (extenstion). How do I pull it into the editor sw?

Thanks again!!
