New mx900/mrf350 owner.
I'm only getting a range of two feet from my mx900 to the rfx250. I've done the interference test at id#0 and I see nothing on the status led unless i press a button on the mx900. I switch back to id#1 and I only get status at a range of two feet. This is with moving the mrf350/rfx250 out of the cabinet and just sitting on the chair. I've tried with and without IR blasters connected. I've tried adding the ferrite cores when I did have the blasters connected.
The IR codes work great, just RF that is noop.
Did I get a bad unit?
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Have you adjusted the sensitivity on the RFX-250 with a screwdriver (ie. turned it all the way up)?

There's sensitivity on the RFX-250? Where is that adjustment?

There is no adjustment for sensitivity on the RFX-250.

There aren't many things you can really try. A different RF ID, just to rule that out. Maybe try using a cat 5 cable (with two wires from each pair for each input) to move it farther away from the cabinet than the standard cable will allow. New batteries in the MX900.

I can't really think of anything else.

I do have 5.8GHz cordless phones in the room. The base station is in another room. I don't think the problem is interference because I'm not showing any activity on the Status LED or the RF LED unless I press a remote button within two feet of the antenna. If I move the antenna around all my components (on ID 0) I still don't see any flashing of the RF LED.
