Hi Guys-

I've been looking and waiting for manf reply (good luck), but no luck yet, getting the discrete On/OFF codes for this 63" plasma, so I can get this (so far) device oriented 850, transformed onto an activity oriented device. I'd like the discretes for direct input, too, if possible, but have a clunky way to accomplish that, otherwise.

Please and........ Thanks in advance. Mike

That TV use code 431 in the URC Database. Unfortunately, that TV does not Hvae discrete codes for input, or power on. I would go through all of the Philips codes, just to check and make sure that one of the discrete Input codes from another code group doesn't work. If it does, then use that code group for you input selection.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I have pretty good luck with 274; will try 431.

I did find a few Philips setups in the Pronto section; some with possible discretes, and will begin working through them to check results.

Interestingly and surprisingly, from Philips:

"Recently you have asked us about the on/off codes for yoru Philips TV.

I have forwarded you request to the tech departement where it will be
handled regarding the CCF file.

In the meantime, be sure to have loaded the latest codes from
www.pronto.philips.com as the code for your TV is known to be :

1522

This codeset should include the on/off button as well."

Turns out, this is of little help to me. I had found a newer file at the link, but it is in pcf format. The older file, dated 2002-03, while in ccf format is not usable in the Universal Browser of URC's programming tool.

Does anyone know how to break this jam? Thanks.
