I am trying to control a URC SNP-2 Streaming player using IR and a non URC system. Does anyone have the IR codes for this? The unit has an IR jack on the rear panel that is for one way IR control but I can't find any codes for this. My version of CCP doesn't list this device in it's database. Any help appreciated. . Thanks!

Did you search under AUX section in the IR Database in CCP?  It has all the SNP2 codes

do any of the streaming services even still work with this model?  you might be wasting your time on this one.

@Duct Tape, I found a cheap new in the box player and will let you know if I can get it to work in my Whole House audio system as one of the sources. If it doesn't work I can rip the guts out and put a Raspberry Pi running Volumio inside and use it for it's case. It is rack mount and will fit into my audio rack better than a loose raspberry pi does. There isn't a lot of information on the SNP-1 or SNP-2 on the net, so I am not expecting much. It looks like it does support local media, Pandora and vTuner so if those work okay I will be happy. I am not sure if the firmware on the unit will be an issue.

Well this is on the internet, so I will say it here.  They both suck ass.  Even if you get them to work, don't expect much.  Pandora stopped working on the SNP1 altogether a long time ago and I believe not he SNP2 as well, although I may be mistaken.  URC's excuse was that the chip maker they purchased from when designing the units lied and said they would allow for upgrading but it was not the case.

So far so good. I have it working with the IR codes through a KP-4000 and an MRX-2. Pandora works fine and so does vTuner. Those are the only two that I really wanted to work. It will supposedly work over the local network to music stored on a NAS but I haven't tried that yet. The settings allows one to turn off the streaming output and it can simultaneously play music through the HDMI signal as well as either the analog output or the SPDIF output.

I will add it to my whole house system and learn the IR codes with my Global Cache learner so that I can add them to the whole house controllers. If I can upload them here or if someone else needs them hit me up and I will send them.

For the 50 bucks I got it on ebay it is a good value. Sorry you had a bad experience with the SNP-1. The SNP-1 uses composite video instead of the HDMI output on the SNP-2.

I didn't have A bad experience, I had 100 bad experiences of URC telling my clients they can pay another $600 to replace the streamer they already paid $600 for to get the same services they already had to work. Then when they did pony up, URC just discontinued it and said sorry, just buy a 3rd part streamer instead

You wouldn't happen to know the IP port that URC uses to send IP commands to the SNP-2? I was trying to see if the KP-4000 would control it via IP instead of IR. It isn't necessary for my system, just playing around with it. TIA.
