Did you have to do any weirdness like you had to do with Win 7? I don't remember exactly what because I could never get it to work. Hence I kept on old XP laptop around just to program my remotes.

It is plug and play?

You will need to be more specific with which remote you speak. Because .CCP itself NEVER had a problem running on any of the Windows versions. Not that I ever remember.
But certain remotes (MX980, MX6000, etc.) had problems with versions of Windows, because URC was stupid and used extra software modules by Microsoft, etc. for those specific remotes. Stuff that even a half-wit should have known would cause issues, not long down the road. But hey, that's the upper personnel that have been steering URC now for almost 2 decades.

It was a 980. Something about you needed to install some specific Windows driver that I never could get to work. It was a download problem, not a programming problem.

I have since moved to 890's.

I grabbed a new Surface Pro 7 as BB was discounting them to make room for the new 8 & X. So just waiting on my keyboard to get here on Monday and will give it a go.

Thanks.
