Hello,

I have my CCP installed on my old laptop, saved with my newest configuration. I recently purchased a new PC and tried to move CCP using One drive but I somehow messed up when it said what program I would like to use to open it. So now it tries to use a Microsoft program to open which nothing will. I even tried to copy it to my flash drive but once I try to open it on new PC it has whatever the last app I tried to use to open it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm reading two issues here.

1. You seem to have set your default program for .CCP files to something other than URC Complete Control Program. Assuming you are using Windows 10, you can reset your default programs by typing "Choose default apps by file type" into the search box in the taskbar then finding .CCP and resetting it to nothing or to CCP.

2. Did you install Complete Control on the new PC or did you just move/copy your .CCP file over and try to run it? You can't just copy the program itself from one PC to another, you need to find your installer disc/file(s) and reinstall CCP on the new PC.

Yes, I did accidently set the default to something else after I copied and pasted the .CCP file. I did not install the Complete Control program assuming it was part of the file. I have my install CD and will proceed. Thank you!

Thanks! Took awhile to get it straight but I did.
