I have the MX900 that I purchased from an authorized dealer. I was able to download the MX900 editor but am not able to do the LiveUpdate??? Dealer says that they have to program it for me at an additional cost. Out of principle I refuse to pay extra for two codes that will take a minute or two to upload!!! I am looking for the following .xmg files if some kind soul with the latest IR database could upload them to the file section or email them to me directly. I need the file for my Pioneer Elite Pro 1140 HD Plasma as well as my Marantz SR8001 Surround Receiver. I have searched the file section and neither model is listed. Marantz codes and Pioneer codes rarely change. You can try some similar models

I can verify this. I swapped an Pro-1110 for a Pro-1140 last week and I did not even have to touch the remote. You have been reading the monster thread too long. Use the older model codes it will work fine. BTW. I am an authorized dealer and the laptop I usually use for programming has never had a live update.
