I received my MX-3000 a few days ago and tonight just had the chance to sit down and start loading up the remote. I've got a lot to learn but everything is going fairly well.
Over the weekend I spent a lot of time looking at graphics files on this web site as well as making some of my own. One thing that's important in creating graphics for the remote is compatible color schemes. I'm not that great with colors but there is a really cool free web application that I've used to help me choose colors. It's called Kuler and it's from Adobe. The link to it is
http://kuler.adobe.com/ Just click on the create menu pad on the left and have some fun. It gives you the RGB numbers that you can plug right into the editor to exactly reproduce the colors you've chosen with Kuler. It's really a lot of fun and you'll probably waste at least 15 minutes playing around with it.
Enjoy
