I have an MX-980 and I use CCP to program.

I have a main MRX-1 basestation with the RF250 IR sensor and a secondary basestation MRF-260 that I use to control the projector rather than running a flasher over to the projector.

the AVR Arcam AVR390 and Tivo run off the MRX-1 and the Projector is Epson 5040ub on the MRF-260

So as you would expect I have the tivo, the arcam, and the projector as separate devices. Tivo and arcam specified as MRX-1 and projector as MRF-260 in the RF section of CCP.

Where I am running into an issue is when I try to make a macro to turn everything on or off. It does not seem like I can get a macro to execute commands to both base stations. When I make macros I am using alias to the projector off and alias to the receiver off button. Do I need to "jump" to the projector page first ?

thanks in advance for any help
Dennis

No jumps needed. Of course the RF control tab has to refer to each device and the base station it is connected to.

Try some longer delays when you are going from one the station to the other. URC base stations sometimes get confused by stray RF that is being sent to the other one, and have to settle down for just a moment before taking new commands.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Every device needs a jump macro to get from the main page to first page within the device. So jumps are needed.

You don't need page jumps in the macro.

You could try adding a temporary button on the main page that jumps to the page you are aliasing from and then try the button on that page to see if the button works properly outside the macro.

Do you have punch through directed to the power buttons on the arcam and projector? I've seen issues with this. I always add the power commands on buttons within the devices to use for aliasing.

Thanks guys, delays did it. I had 0.5 second delay in there but that was not doing it, so I now have the command issued 3 times in the macro with 1 second delay in between and that does the trick and gets the projector turned off.

One of the problems in troubleshooting this is that I really do not like turning the projector on and off a lot. So i would only really make 1 or 2 attempts per day.
