Are you getting them from the URC database or from Denon's Documentation?
I have converted the 697CI Codes into pronto hex from the raw data documentation and put it into my receiver IR excel chart. Provided the documentation is correct they should be good. I can send it if you want.

There should be two remotes with discretes for turning zone1 and zone 2 ona dn off. Alos discretes input selection on the remotes for zone 1 and zone 2. Also discrete channel selection on the remote. What more do you need? Rememeber there are two remotes, one that will do zone 1 and 2 and one that will just do zone 2. Did you try the codes for the DRA695? I can send you a mxf file with the codes that I have learned into the URC software, but you should be able to learn them from the remote.
