Cursor pad in middle of MX-990 is sticking when I press the left side of the button.

1. Is there any way to fix the sticking key without taking apart the unit?

2. If not, how do I take apart the remote? I’ve found a thread on taking apart the MX850, but same technique doesn’t seem to work on the MX-990.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Can't be that old, maybe under warranty still. Call URC customer service.

If it’s got goo...

Toothbrush and a bit of moisture on it. Scrub upside down and leave to dry. Repeat if necessary.

If it’s really messy, disassemble or replace.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
