I have the MX3000 and the MRF250. I get no interference showing on "0" at all. The light stays off all the time.

I've connected everything up. The TV still gets IR of course. I have the Escient changer control plugged into #1 and into the back of the Escient's IR in port. I have a Denon 2807 on #2 and the SA 8300HD on #3.

When I close my cabinet doors and hit "ON" everything comes on. I can then switch between "Cable" and "DVD". But that's it. I can't get any other hard button or screen button to work. When I change to DVD for example using IR, the Escient guide comes up in the macro string as the first thing I see. Now it doesn't do that. It's just switching the sources on the Denon from TV to DVD. and the last page that I was on is moving in the screen saver mode.

The RF must be working since it will turn on the receiver and switch sources. That tells me that RF is getting to the 250 and passed to the Denon, at least.

Any thoughts on how to make everything else work?

In the software do you have each device set to IR and RF?

Also, before trying any RF open all the cabinet doors and point the remote at the equipment and just see if your codes work, THEN introduce the RF and IR routing stuff.

Everything works perfectly with IR with the doors open. I've been using the remote this way for a few weeks now just to test it.

How do I make sure that each device is set to IR and RF? I'm guessing that they are since the Denon does turn on via RF and does switch inputs via RF. It (and the others) just won't do anything else.

In the software click on the Programming menu item and then on RF Control and you'll see a drop box for each device where you can choose if you want RF, IR, RF and IR and then can specify which emitter you want or if you want all commands put out all emitters.

Check the placement of the IR emitters on the equipment and make sure you put them in the right place over the unit's IR sensor.
