I thought the only ones that didn't have discretes were the ones made by philips (the HDF Models).

Made by LG it is the exact same TV as the dreaded Toshiba 50HP66 except different codes. I had to learn them. Input is the Input+# like Toshiba and toggle power only. ON + 3SEC DELAY + ON is On. Worked fine for me.
