I got a great deal on an MRX-10 base station (new in box) and bought it not realizing that it cannot be programmed in CCP. You need the Total Control Accelerator software to program it, apparently.
I bought this so that I could try out an iPhone URC app that can be programmed through CCP. The MRX-10 has an ethernet port and can send and receive IP commands.
So, my question is whether I can set this up in CCP by calling it an MRX-41R or something else that CCP recognizes. I realize that I will not get the full functionality of the MRX-10. I just need it to receive IP, RF, and IR commands.

Might need the MRX-2, made for CCP.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |

You can plug a RFX-250 in the back, call it MRF-350, and set ID#1.

As JoeFlabitz mentioned. it can receive RF commands from CCP remotes, but it will only control IR devices plugged into the MRX10. You won't gain any IP, RS232, Sensors, etc this way. You basically bought a rack mountable MRF350 basestation.

Thank you very much for the replies, guys. I'm going to get rid of the MRX10 given that I won't be able to program it to process IP commands. I already have an MRF350 up and running so I don't really need, as Duct Tape puts it, a "rack mountable MRF350 base station." LOL.
