Hi-
I currently have an MX3000 controlling a DISH VIP622 HD DVR - I would like to use the right arrow button for the skip function (to fast forward the DVR) --When I set this button, the problem I have is that if I pull up my guide and select the right arrow, it skips to the next day as opposed to the next program (1 hour ahead vs 1 day ahead) - Can I program this to be a dynamic button? What I mean is - Have it default to skip, but tap a button on my remote which reassigns the skip button?

If I cant figure it out, I'd be more than happy to pay someone for this... Or if anyone is in NH and would be interested in moving my system from my basement to my upstairs and making any necessary programming changes, please let me know!

Thanks!

Setup the button as a time based macro. This allows the button to perform two different functions. A tap will do one thing while holding the button down for a second or more will do something else. This option is available in the macro window at the bottom of the screen. Just press the time mode button, select a delay time (one second is the minimum) and then program the before and after modes to do what you want.

This works great! Thank you !!
