Hi-
I had a custom installer configure my MX3000 with an MRF-300/RFX-150 setup - The installer did a very bad job and I wound up picking up where he left off and finishing the install - It's been working well for a few months, but now i need to move my entire setup upstairs - My TV has been controlled by IR, but now I need to use an IR blaster for the TV - I'm out of Ports on the MRF-300 am I right in assuming that I can just daisy chain another MRF-300?

Thanks!

Or put a Xantech connecting block (789-44) that will give you 4 additional IR emiiters from one IR port on the MRF300. As long as the 4 components on that IR port don't have the same IR code (And won't conflict with each other), you'll be fine. You'll need to power up the connecting block with a 781RG pwrs supply.

I do it ALL the time!!!!!! Works great.

Quickest, cheapest, easiest.

use it on 2 components that wont interfere with one another. receiver and DVD. or anything else that wont have overlapping codes. in my personal setup, i have my avr and dvd together and have them wired with an 1/8" cord to the rear ir port. works like a champ
