I just started to program my MX-780 for a 2018 Vizio P-Series. Discrete inputs seem to be working if the Vizio is first powered up. If I select Apple TV, the Vizio turns on, followed by a 10sec delay, HDMI 1 is selected Apple TV starts. Now, if I want to watch a blu-ray from here, I have a variable macro programmed. I push blu-ray and my AVR along with my blu-ray player start up, there are delays programmed but the Vizio will not switch to the according HDMI input. If the system is all powered down after say watching Apple TV than restart by pressing blu-ray everything turns on appropriately and the proper input gets selected.

Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong or overlooked?

Thanks

check to make sure that hdmi control (CEC) is turned off on all your devices, this can mess with universal remote macros.

Just made sure CEC is turned off in all devices although I didn't see any CEC in my Apple TV setup.

AppleTV has it in the remote control section I believe.  They refer to the option as controlling other devices.  If all other devices have the CEC turned off, then it probably won't matter if the AppleTV has it turned on.

if you have dropbox, you could post your file and I could check to see if I see any issues.

it looks like your issue, is that you don't have the variable selected in your macro window.  click on the circled box in the linked photo and select the variable that you want the macro to reference.

Thanks Duct Tape! It was the Power Delay for the variable. I never programmed TV On and input so it would know to switch back. I had False fully programmed though.

Thank you so much for your time!
