Using the older MX-900 editor, connection using a USB2 port is fine, using a USB3 is not.

The remote sees the connection (beeps), but the S/W can't connect to the remote. The error is "Unable to connect" "E_WRT-T2"

The USB3 port is directly off a Gigabyte AMD based MB, not a add-on card and the port does work with USB memory sticks. It shoes up as "URCHID" under 'Devices & Printers'.
Keep OTA television alive.
