Finished programming my MX-980 w/CCP but I need step by step instructions on how to program channel numbers to the TV Channel icons. I didn't see anything in the Programming manual about channel icons. I'm not really into macro's but I'd like to use the channel icons. Thanks for any help.
For example: If I want to put in 25.3 I know I have to put in 2>pause>5>pause .pause>3>enter. I'm just not sure how to do it right. I went to the Macro menu clicked on the Record. Channel icon blinks. What do I do Next?

How did you set up your remote without macros?

I put in 24 components.. Used IR database to put commands on the hard buttons and the ones I typed for the screen I used the learn function. I don't really care for macro's because for ex: if I just want to watch tv I don't always want 4 other things turning on. I also use a few triggers for things I do want to turn on.
I have 4 TV's and an OTA antenna with no cable. I want to put in 7 channel numbers so they work with the channel logos.

Can I get the info I requested now or is it some big company secret? I have 4 TV's and an OTA antenna with no cable. I want to put in 7 channel numbers so they work with the channel logos. If I can't get them I think I'll live. I thought this was a website where I could find help. After doing some research and searches this place looks like a place where people find more insults then help.

Then fvck off. I asked a simple question and didn't say I wouldn't help, but why would I now?

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
