Hi,
I have an MX780 that I use to control my system that includes Roku Ultra.
While searching in Netflix, the MX-780's directional buttons (Up, Down, right, left) move two letters at a time. The original Roku remote works fine.
I tried to use learn function of the MX-780 only to realize that the Roku remote uses RF, not IR.
I checked the buttons and it looks like only one repeat is programmed into MX-780.
Can anyone help me to "slow down" my MX-780?

I do not see this problem while in different channel, only when searching in Netflix.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Musictoo,

Could you please elaborate?

I do not see the "cursor" in the available commands list.

I also was wondering if it would be possible to enable the RF capabilities of the remote for the Roku player only.

Thank you

he is referring to the directional commands.

it sounds like you already tried changing the repeats to one on those.

if you are using an RF basestation and an IR emitter on the roku, try setting up the remote to control it via ir directly from the remote as a test.  if it works better that way, maybe the emitter needs to be moved to a better spot, or you may have to adjust the ir level on the basestation.

you could also try using the hex codes that were posted in the files section to see if they work any better.  You use the Univeral Browser function in CCP to add them to your file

Hi Musictoo and Duct Tape,

Thank you very much for your help: I THOUGHT that I set the repeat to "1".
I double-checked today. The number of repeats was set to 1 but the button "repeat" was checked so the remote was repeating the commands once.
I unchecked the button and now everything works like it should except for one thing:
in the previous version of the program I saved Netflix command on the page 2 as the right top soft button.
I tried to move the command to the bottom left- on the simulator everything looks fine- the command is on the bottom left, but on the remote the command still shows up as the top right. Tried sending the program to the remote multiple times.
Any ideas?

Thanks again
