I recently replaced my media room remote with a MX-450. This is a fairly complicated setup, but everything works except the Oppo BluRay player. The directional arrow keys and select key do not respond to the 450. I have done the "learn" process on one of the arrow keys from the Oppo remote, but no soap. The Oppo remote works fine on it's on. This all works through a Xantech IR system. I had a similar experience with a DinkyLink receiver attached to the same block. It has a carrier adjustment screw and I was able to find the "sweet spot" on it. The same MX-450 is used here. I considered replacing my "pin hole" receiver with this but found that this equipment is 5 times the cost I paid for my 1st DinkyLink (about $20). Hard to find for $100 now. Any suggestions on getting the Oppo to play with the MX-450 better?

Did you try the Oppo codes in the database first? I'd trust them before the learned codes.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |
