Hi Guys,
I've been programming these remotes for many years and am struggling with this 880.
First off, I can't see where to edit the WATCH screen, only the devices!
I'm on the latest CCP 3.7 and can't even edit the home screen buttons.
I'm also getting old so maybe I'm overlooking the obvious?
thx,
bob
EDIT: on my mX-900 WATCH is a device under edit buttons

And another crazy thing is when I am on the main watch screen and click on a device, it doesn't open up the devices home screen. Frustrating.
Program works fine with other remote, BTW

Mx-880 remotes have choice of Listen & Watch, where the mx-810, not programmable with CCP software, has Devices & Activities. What does your remote have?
To get from main Watch page to the first page of a device there has to be jump macro program to each device, if you erased the macro completely you won't be able to open the device. So there will be M on every device no matter if you program a macro yourself or not, because there has to be one to open the device.

It's an 880z with listen and watch. I have done this for years and have never had this much trouble.
I think the 880z part of CCP is broken, When trying to record macros it won't recognize any command on the main display screen of a device, only secondary buttons so I have had to use the database to do it. Every other URC I have ever programmed has "jumped" to the device screen while working in CCP. I have to use the tree on the left to get anywhere. And the drivers (Win 7 Pro) are reaaly quirky. Half the time I get a driver error and have to reboot, etc.
Same laptop never has problems with other URC models.
BTW, is the original 880 CC program still around? My stand alones are on my old computer.
thx
bob
