OK, after an hour of tinkering with CCP and searching the 980 CCP manual (since there's no 990 PDF), I'm at a loss and feeling quite senile. How do you save a single device to a file?

TIA

As in cablebox , AVR, AppleTV etc.?

Add Device
Add Layout
IR Data
Save

Just did this and saved a Motorola cablebox to the file.

If I'm not using CCP regularly when I finally do use it even simple things seem hard. Spent an hour figuring how to change the background on a MX-5000 the other day.

I'm starting with my complete system in the simulator. Is there any way of saving each device in the system separately? Based on what you've said, would I have to delete all but one and save that?

Do you want a different CCP file for every device? What are you trying to achieve?

No, I wanted to have device files to for the 990 to up load to the site. I figured that would make it easier for someone to set up a new system. I guess maybe with the Transporter they're not really needed ...
