The font scaling is totally bonkers in Windows 10 "creators update" and adjusting desktop scaling no effect, nor does the resolution I run at.

Argh.

If by this you mean the text displayed in the simulator is smaller than the actual size in the remote, then yep that's the current deal. Since I've only used CCP in the CU I figured it was par for the software.

I end up trying the size until I get what I want in the remote. It may look bonkers in the simulator but nice in the remote.

I also noted that after saving, the next time you open the saved file any text Y offset that were changed to 0 come back as 2 but were downloaded as 0 to the remote at the time of the change, so anytime I'm going to make changes I first upload from the remote to keep the 0 offsets, make the changes then download. The 0 offsets keep unless I reload the saved file during a session.

Is there a fix for this yet? The whole Simulator is way to small not just the font.

If you have a high resolution screen change your resolution to exactly half. This will scale perfect 2:1 and not have this scaling issue. I do that on my laptop when working in CCP. If I leave it native and no scaling everything is very small but proportional but the windows scaling function is what causes problems. My laptop screen resolution is 3200x1800 and I change it to 1600x900 when using CCP and everything looks good.

Thanks. I have Microsoft Surface laptop. I have it on the recommended resolution of 2160x1440. I changed it to approx. 1/2 (1024x768) didn't help. I tried quite a few resolutions including the lowest 800x600. Still didn't help.

It needs to be exactly half or the scaling will be off. I don't know if you can do a custom resolution of 1080x720? That is a weird resolution. I thought the surface laptops were a higher resolution is that an older model?

It's a Surface Pro 3. Not sure how old it is. I think I got it when the Surface line came out.

There's a trick that fixes this for high resolution displays. Go to the shortcut you use to start CCP. Right click on it and select properties. Go to the compatibility tab. Once there select "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:". I've selected "System" but the other two choices seem to work the same. If you don't see a compatibility tab, try recreating the shortcut. I'm using a Surface Book 2.

Unfortunately that didn't do anything for me, but maybe because I have text scaling at 100%.

I'm using 125% also. I went with 1280x800 resolution after the fix to get it to the right size.
