Two questions on CCP/MX 780.

1. How do I move a device from page 1 to page 2.
I don't want to create a new device in page 2 and create a jump to the device. I want to move it from page 1.
Separate questions:
2. Is there a way to create a label on the main menu, without actually creating a device?
When I import a device, it is created automatically under the Main1. I don't have a corresponding device button on main menu. The only way I can create a button in the main menu, is to create a device.. But this would duplicate my devices - the one I imported and the one I had to create to create a label/button in main menu.
Thanks

1. I don't know if I have tried on the 780 but have done this on others. Click on that first page in the tree view on the left. Highlight the icon you want to move. Either right click and cut, or CTL-X it. Usually it asks if I want to delete the device associated with the icon. NO. Go to page 2 and CTL-V to paste it there. The association should remain.

2. Can you go to the image library and find an image to use and drag it over there? I don't know if I have tried this, but it's an idea.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Your suggestion 1 seems to work. Thanks!

2. how do i go to the image library? Can you outline the steps? Because I click on tools/image gallery - i get a new window with blank buttons.. what am I missing?

Go to view:functions and you should be able to just drag them where you need.

mnusictoo is correct; by changing your view to 'pages' you can now place page 1 and page 2 next to each other and drag the device over with minimum effort. Be careful with the cut and paste as it could create another device.
