I just replaced a VSX-92TXH with a SC-LX701. Most of the 92's codes work for the 701 but I can't find a code for input "STRM BOX".

Complete Control has a database for the 701 but those codes don't work.

I've also tried the Pronto hex codes from the Pioneer web site and many of these don't work either!

I was able to learn most of what I needed from the 701's remote but STRM BOX is missing from the remote. I think that's the only one I'm missing at this point, but it would be nice to have a complete working set for this receiver.

I have verified the receiver is set to remote ID 1.

I've tried the IR port on the front of the receiver as well as the IR 1/8" input on the back.

I am programming an MX-980 if that makes any difference.

Complete Control is up to date.

Thanks.

Update:

The codes in the URC IR database DO work but there is no code for STRM BOX.
There is also no code for Dolby Surround.

I have done additional testing on the Pronto hex info that Pioneer supplies. The Pronto hex for single codes (e.g., A50A for volume up) work. Most of the codes are dual codes (e.g., A557+AF36 for STRM BOX) and these do NOT work.

Is it possible the Pioneer Pronto hex info is incorrect?

Is it possible Complete Control is not interpreting it correctly?

Does anyone have any insight on this issue? I'm not well versed on generating pronto hex from other code formats.

I was able to determine that the data in the file I got from the Pioneer web site is incorrect. The third and fourth words are swapped.

However, the file that has the needed codes has been removed from the Pioneer web site so there's no "official" IR codes for this series of receivers at this time. All other information is at least a year out of date and does not include these receivers.
