I picked up a MSC-400 and was playing with the CCP software a bit, but ran into a question for the experts here.

When setting up a new serial device not in the database, I can't seem to find the actual port settings beyond designating Port# on the MSC. Where do the baud rate, stop bit, parity, etc get set up at? I'm not connected to it at this point, so does that happen during download or elsewhere?

Otherwise are those serial ports fixed at 9600 or something. I just can't find anything online or in the manual.

Thanks in advance of the holidays!

Ah, never mind, found a thread here that mentioned clicking on the port and editing the properties window. That was it.
