trying to use IR (for now) w/ mx990 and Dish joey 2 & hopper 3 system.
Using the joey2 only, i changed the IR to "on" in the menu.
Using mx990, Ir data: hopper 122,dvr921, 942 with no luck.

Any help is appreciated!

Nuthin, huh? Me too. Neither.

I've tried all the code sets in URC and have looked for Joey in the RTI database. Under Dish and under Echostar.

The Joey is labeled

MODEL: Joey... REG ID: 071

No IR commands?

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I asked about this last July:

Previous Dish receivers had a choice of 16 IR code sets, most of the time the only code set preset into universal remote is unit code #1.
