I have found a local programmer and now have both units programmed. Thanks to all who responded.
My comment of reasonable was in reference to Best Buy charging about $400 to program the MX-3000 after I purchased it in 2007 from them and they had no clue on what they were doing after 1 1/2 months and 3 different Techs attempting to program it. It never was right and I had to hire someone else who did know what they were doing but flaked out and left the state after 75% completion.
I agree that maybe competent and reasonable might have been a better choice of words.
