Thinking of getting the MX-450 (I currently have a R50, MX810 and MX780), just wondering with the latest updates on the MX-450 does it have any network logos for Canada and also logos for things like Netflix and AppleTV?

The 450 is exactly the same as the R50 except you can update the database. Still not computer programmable.

Thanks. Tech support also got back to me to confirm no channe logos from Canada or icons like Netflix and AppleTV

Yes, I am thinking I should probably get the 890 as my 810 is almost done, got lots of abuse in the family room from my kids and will need to be replaced soon. URC just accepted my 780 back yesterday because of the dimming screen and will be sending me a new one.

If you have the software, and like 890, do a search for x-8 remote fleabay.
