Hello,
Just picked up a Samsung UN60KU6300 last week. It comes with their 'Smart Remote' and I don't believe it's IR.

I found an old thread recommended 656 but unfortunately that doesn't work. I am dying to get my MX880 working so I can throw the little Smart Remote in the drawer.

Thanks for any suggestions that you may offer.

I believe I used the 656 codes for my mx980 also and it worked fine. Only issue I have is the "extra" button wasn't included and I cannot get the 980 to learn the command. I asked samsung about it but they had no answer. Hopefully, someone else can chime in.

Yeah, I hope so too. The 656 codes didn't work for me unfortunately. :( The Samsung smart remote is just annoying to me but my kids love it.

OK...The 656 codes DO work for me. I was in a hurry when I programmed this and I screwed something up. Will let you know if I find a solution for Extra button.

If your TV is like mine (UE55JS8000), you will find that the discrete code for HDMI4 does not work, HDMI1,2,3 do.

I have got round this with a MACRO

Actually, I need help with another button too... On the stupid smart remote, it's the little u shaped arrow button. I just assumed it would be 'Exit' but it actually works differently than Exit. For example, while in Youtube application, Exit takes you out of the Youtube application whereas the U shaped arrow takes acts like a 'Back'. (it takes you out of the video you're watching but stays in the Youtube app. How did you guys program that button?

Thanks a mil!!

Apparently the Play/Pause button on the smart remote doesn't match the 'Play' and 'Pause' in 656 either. grrrr. Only the 'Play/Pause' button on the smart remote will pause Youtube.

So to summarize, I am looking for direction on:

Code Set numbers for the stupid Samsung Smart remote (TV Purchased new 8/2016 Samsung UN60KU6300) :

* Back (Ushaped Button)
* Extra
* Play/Pause

If you have any luck with these, please let us know. (thank you!)

The back (u-shaped) button works the same for me as it does on the samsung smart remote. Did you try using the learn function on your remote?

Maybe jsuarez doesn't know how to import pronto hex using the Universal browser function of CCP software? Do you?

Sorry, I have no idea how to use your software. But I can tell you how to learn the command from a JP1 remote (typical cable TV remote), if you have one of those.
