First I'll say I'm new to the board, total newb to programing this remote, so please bear with me.

I have a MX-350 remote controlling a whole house Audio/Video system. I did not set the system up, and the person who did is not available to help. I want to do something that I suspect is relatively simple. I want to replace my Sony BDP-BX57 Blu-Ray with a Sony BDP-S3700 Blu-Ray.

Would it be possible to give me easy to follow step by step instructions on how to remove the old and add the new?

I can't do that but I can ask a question that's so obvious I might insult you by asking, but please bear with me: Did you try the remote as it is and you found it would not control the new Blu-ray player? I'd expect two Sonys to use the same codes, in which case you don't have to change anything.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
