I'm programming my new MX-990. The programming manual for the MX-980 indicates that, on the bottom of the "Devices" window, there should be three radio buttons to select left aligned, wide, or right aligned buttons. The "Devices" window in the latest CCP software does not have these three options ... the window is identical to what's shown in the MX-980 programming manual except for the omission of these options.

I don't know if this is a function of the current version of the CCP software, or if selecting the MX-990 when setting up the configuration file changes (or eliminates) the options.

So, to make a long story short (I know, too late for that! ), how do I create a wide button for an activity when programming the MX-990?

Selecting the mx-990 does eliminate those options. I guess they aren't in those templates.

You can create wide buttons yourself or use the ones from the mx-980 templates. You can combine the buttons on the left and right and then just put a larger image on the button to get a wide button.


Alternatively, you could set it up using the mx-980 templates.

How do you adjust the size of the buttons in CCP for the MX-990? How do you change the button design that is selected when download your equipment?

For instance, when I downloaded the codes for my receiver, CCP automatically defaulted the buttons (size and shape and design) for the "tuner" function. I want to change that button to a different design/shape. Let's say from the defaulted square button to an oval button shape.

Step-by-step instructions would be helpful, or pointing me to the correct post would be useful as well.
