I have sold many URC remotes over the years. Some were fun to program, but did not excite my clients, and some that excited my clients were not so fun to program. The MX-990 in my opinion is the best remote to date so far in the CCP lineup. The remote is light, ergonomic and has all the right hard buttons. (Thanks for the record button!). It is a huge improvement on the 980, which was my best seller. Allowing us to customize it with our own graphics, instead of relying on workarounds and trying to manage graphic packages from client to client like other remotes allows us to fully realize the graphic potential. Most importantly, the clients are ecstatic and really enjoy the design - and not just the technical type. What surprises me is that it is highly welcomed by the other members of the household.

Thanks to URC for improving on the MX-980 and incorporating principles of other remotes in the lineup.

Hi Total Control Remotes, I bought 2 weeks ago the new MX-990
I am an end user and very familiar with CCP software. I have an MX-890 and many MX-880's, and all my devices are the sames on every remotes i am using.
I am using most of the times Hex codes for Power On and Off my devices
I found somes issues on the New 990.
a) The pages don't loop (On every devices on last pages, you can't go to the first page by pressing right page, same issue if you are on page 1 and press left)

b)In Ir database, i can't find for OPPO 103 player thoses codes (OPTIONS and 3D).
I then want to use Hex codes for both of them, but it didn't work. I tried to learn thoses with the OPPO original remote and same thing, it didn't work too.

Those issues are not there with the MX-890 and 880
