Hi, I recently bought a home with a home theater in it, with a MX 3000. I like the remote, but want to add components. I have the MX 3000 editor program, but this is severely outdated and no longer supports live updates. It says I need to update to CCS to get the latest. I am not a dealer or installer (at least not professionally), but I just want to tweak what I already have. I realize I will probably catch a lot of flack for posting this, but please, if someone would please help me get the Complete Control Suite software (not Complete Control Program), it would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use the old editor unfortunately.

There's CCP residential or CCP commercial and both won't program the MX3000.

So, Complete Control Program and Complete Control Suite are the same? Why would the editor tell me to update if I can't?

You will have to learn any new IR codes that are not in the library. It has been a long time since the last update, yet the remote is still a current product (MX-3000i)

Because the editor is OLD, OLD, OLD and URC, as a company, is f%$cked!!! They still sell a controller that's not compatible with 64 bit Windows. Every time you call tech support, no matter what your problem is, they've never heard of it before.

The MSC400 has been discontinued for about a year now and they are completely out of inventory.

I have read about how you could use Crestron VT Pro to program a MT-1000, export the program, use a hex editor to change the device from MT-1000 to mx 3000 and import it to the URC editor. Unfortunately, I am in the same boat, as I have no way to get my hands on VT Pro.

I program Crestron and haven't heard of this. Could be true but I wouldn't have the faintest idea how.
